OpenTemply, a brand and product of ANVINZO, a sole proprietorship registered in India ("OpenTemply", "we", "our", or "us"), operates the Label Maker for Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides add-on ("Label Maker" or the "Service"), available through the Google Workspace Marketplace and hosted at https://opentemply.com/google-workspace/addons/labelmaker.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling Google user data responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains what information we access, how we use it, how we protect it, and your rights regarding your data.

By installing, accessing, or using Label Maker, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Google Workspace APIs and Limited Use Policy

Google User Data Access

Depending on the features you use, Label Maker may access the following Google user data solely to provide the requested functionality:

• Google Account Information: Your Google account email address for licensing, quota verification, and authentication.
• Document & File Access: Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides files that you explicitly choose to use with the add-on.
• Spreadsheet Data: Spreadsheet data selected by you for mail merge, barcode creation, or label generation.
• Label Content: User-provided label text, styling, dimensions, and layout configurations.

Strict Scope Limitation: Label Maker only accesses documents, spreadsheets, and presentations that you explicitly select or open while using the add-on. We do not access other files in your Google Drive.

We request only the minimum Google API scopes strictly necessary to deliver the functionality of the Service.

2. Information We Access & Data Retention

A. Zero Data Retention for Document Content (PII)

Label Maker processes document and spreadsheet data natively within your Google Workspace session or client device environment.

We do NOT collect, transmit, sell, or permanently store the contents of your documents, presentations, or spreadsheets on our servers.

B. Account and Usage Data

To provide the core functionality of the Service, manage your subscription or license tier, and enforce API usage quotas, we automatically collect and store limited operational data:

• Your Google account email address (used as the primary account and entitlement key).
• Usage statistics (e.g., number of labels generated, timestamps of operations).
• Educational domain data (if you apply for or hold a free K-12 / Higher Education license).
• Basic technical metadata necessary to operate the licensing backend.

3. How We Use Information

We use your Account and Licensing Data solely to:

• Verify your subscription plan or approved educational license via our secure backend.
• Provide customer support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Enforce usage quotas and prevent malicious abuse.

4. Children's Privacy, FERPA, and COPPA Compliance

Label Maker is an administrative and productivity tool designed exclusively for adults, specifically educators, school staff, administrators, and business professionals. Label Maker is not intended for use by students or children under the age of 13.

5. User Controls, Permissions & Data Deletion

You maintain full control over your Google account permissions and your data at all times:

• Revoke Add-on Access: You may revoke Label Maker's access to your Google account at any moment through your Google Account permissions page.
• Uninstall the Add-on: You can uninstall Label Maker directly from Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, or the Google Workspace Marketplace.
• Request Data Deletion: To request complete deletion of your account record, email support@opentemply.com. We process deletion requests within 30 days.
